Introduction
A type of visual defect where patients perceive linear objects as wavy, curved, or rounded. The disease is a symptom of problem with retina especially of macula.
It can be perceived as:
- Flat things may look rounded.
- Macropsia- Objects appear larger than they are
- Micropsia- Objects appear smaller than they are.
- Shapes and face may appear distorted.
- Straight objects appear wavy.
