Wavefront-Guided Ablation

A type of laser treatment used to treat myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and pre-existing higher-order aberrations. This is done by applying complex ablation patterns to the cornea to correct wavefront anomalies. Information is obtained from a wavefront sensing aberrometer, and sent to the treatment laser to program the ablation.
