A rare, multisystem and inflammatory disease that is caused by melanocytes inflammation. Melanocytes produce melanin, which is responsible for giving the skin, hair, and eyes their colour. Due to this factor, it can manifest itself on any pigmented structure. People with this disease can experience vision issues, headaches, vitiligo, meningism, alopecia, tinnitus, and hearing loss. It is commonly seen in people with a darker skin colour. Its cause has not yet been established, but research shows that it could be an autoimmune disease.
