A bilateral, degenerative condition of the cornea usually seen in individuals over the age of 40. It is a symmetrical, chalky white opacity along the nasal and the interpalpebral zone of the cornea; It may or may not be separated from the limbus. The disorder is asymptomatic, and treatment isn’t necessary.
