Global indices used to approximate the rate of visual field loss over time. These indices are found in some perimetry printouts which contain the short-term fluctuation, pattern standard deviation, mean deviation, and corrected pattern standard deviation. They assign a number between 1% and 100% (perfect age-adjusted visual field) grounded on an aggregate visual function percentage. The indices represent the entire visual field as a single percentage of normal.
