A technique used to measure the depth or size of the eye’s anterior chamber angle. It is one of the easiest methods to grade or estimate an open angle in glaucoma. A slit lamp beam is shown next to the limbal sclera at about 60 degrees, where the width of the corneal surface is compared with the width of the adjacent shadow and iris.
