A condition marked by increased length, thickness, pigmentation, and curling of eyelashes. It can be congenital, acquired, or due to certain drugs. In the event of trichiasis, it can lead to visual disturbances and corneal abrasions. The abnormally long eyelashes are approximately greater than 8mm in the peripheral and 12mm in the central region.
