A disorder where light passes through iris pigmentation defects. It may occur due to a hole/defect in the iris tissue, or a stromal and iris pigment epithelial loss caused by various factors such as albinism, trauma, uveitis, surgery, microcoria, Marfan syndrome, ectopia lentis et pupillae, etc.
