A laser treatment that uses a very focused beam of light to create tiny openings in the trabecular meshwork, to allow the outflow of aqueous humor and relieve intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma. The different types include Argon laser trabeculoplasty, laser peripheral iridotomy, selective laser trabeculoplasty, and cyclophotocoagulation.
