A rare disease caused by Toxocara infection. It usually affects children and young adults because of ingesting soil from playgrounds and parks, contaminated with dog or cat feces. The infection can result in severe disease affecting the brain, heart, lung, liver, muscle and eye, leading to profound monocular vision loss.
