A dystonic condition of unknown cause where the neck is twisted causing the head to rotate and tilt at an unusual angle. It is marked by cervical rotation (an abnormal, asymmetrical head tilt) and cervical extension (where an elevated chin is turned in the opposite direction). The most common type is congenital.
