A rare, typically benign tumour with several fully developed tissues and organs for example bones, teeth, hair and muscle. They can appear anywhere in the body but are commonly found in the tailbone, ovaries, and testicles. Teratomas are more common in females and have little to no symptoms if the tumour is small.
