A pharmacological test that uses the drug Tensilon to diagnose myasthenia gravis (MG), a neuromuscular disorder characterized by skeletal muscle weakness. During the test, Tensilon is introduced intravenously through an IV, and the muscle weakness should improve for a few minutes. However, with a few types of MG, the condition may worsen.
