A condition marked by small, visible, linear, dilated or broken blood capillaries, located close to the surface of the mucous membrane or skin. These broken capillaries present with fine, red, or pink lines that turn white when pressed. If the blood vessels take on a blue color, they are referred to as venulectasia since venules are involved.
