A rare disease defined by a distinctive birthmark, referred to as a port-wine stain, on the scalp, around the eye or forehead. The birthmark is caused by excessive capillaries near the skin surface. The disorder is also associated with neurological abnormalities and eye diseases such as glaucoma.
