A rare, incurable and genetic disorder that attacks the connective tissues, specifically collagen. It is characterized by myopia, strabismus, hearing loss, distinctive facial features, palatal abnormalities, and musculoskeletal problems. The syndrome is not life-threatening, although people suffering from it are at a high risk of developing retinal detachment.
