A lower-power biomicroscope (usually binocular) that works together with high-intensity bright light. A thin beam of light is shone into the eye for close surface examination of the structures located at the anterior and posterior segments of the eye, and inside the eye. It helps to determines the health of the eyes and detects eye disease.
