Yellowish white flecks with sharp margins and lipid remains from damaged blood vessels. They are related to chronic vascular leakage that include retinal arterial microaneurysm, diabetic retinopathy, choroidal neovascularization, hypertensive retinopathy, Coat’s disease, and capillary hemangioma of the retina.
