Electromagnetic radiation from the sun and human-made sources with a wavelength external to the visible spectrum at its red end. In the electromagnetic spectrum, it falls between X-rays and visible light. It is divided into three main types namely, UVA rays, UVB rays, and IVC rays, and can negatively affect living tissue.
