A color vision test usually printed and used to screen for color blindness or color vision deficiency. The target’s color embedded in another color’s background seems to be a ‘false’ color of the actual color to people with color deficiency. Target and background colors are deliberately chosen from the colors commonly confused by color-deficient people. The Ishihara color test screens for protanopia and deuteranopia.
