A variant of retinopathy of prematurity, characterized by a rigid pupil, peripheral telangiectasia, and vitreal haze in a premature baby. It is marked by venous dilation in the posterior pole and blood vessel tortuosity during retinopathy of prematurity, leading to total retinal detachment.
