Luminous objects commonly referred to as floaters or flashes, perceived in the field of vision of either one or both eyes. They are usually brief and intermittent and can occur due to various reasons including vitreous, retina and optic nerve disorders. The flashes may also have neurological origins not associated with eye conditions.
