An L-alpha-amino acid or soluble chemical produced by the body (can also be manufactured in a laboratory) and heavily concentrated in the blood because of poor metabolism in gyrate atrophy. It is found in most human tissues, fluids like urine, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, feces, blood, and sweat, and in foods like grapes, wild rice, oregano, and Brazil nuts.
