A disorder characterized by rapid, rhythmical, involuntary, uncontrolled and repetitive jiggling of one or both eyes. The eye oscillations can vary between slow and fast, and could be from side to side, circular, or up and down. The condition may be congenital or acquired and affects both children and adults. The patients tend to turn or tilt their heads to slow down the movements and see better.
