Spherical, translucent, pre-corneal deposits found between a contact lens and corneal endothelium, observed a few minutes after lens insertion. They can lodge deeply into the cornea and can be blinked away, leaving depressions on the corneal epithelium when the lens is removed. However, they have no significant effect on vision and comfort.
