An indolent, classic, spindle-cell tumor found on the adnexa in people living with AIDS (weakened immune systems). It is caused by a human herpes virus-8 infection, and characterized by abnormal red or purple tissue blotches growing beneath the skin or in the lining of blood and lymph vessels.
