The most popular type of rheumatologic disease in children below 16 years, possibly related to uveitis, causing prolonged pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints. Serious complications can arise from the disease such as eye inflammation, growth defects, and joint damage. It can last a few months in some children but a lifetime in others.
