Retinal vascular damage due to elevated intraocular pressure on fundoscopic examination revealing optic disc edema, flame-shaped hemorrhage, yellow, brittle exudates, AV nicking, arterioles constriction, intraretinal microvascular abnormalities, silver or copper wiring, and a macular star. It can lead to retinopathy, choroidopathy, and optic neuropathy.
