Very high arterial blood pressure that occurs when circulating blood exerts force against the artery walls. When measured on two different days, the systolic blood pressure should read =140 mmHg, while diastolic blood pressure should be =90 mmHg with the ideal blood pressure reading =120/80 mmHg. It can be hereditary or caused by stress, improper nutrition, or hormones.
