Hordeolum

It is a localized infection or swelling of the meibomian glands or the eyelid's edge, affecting the eyelashes hair follicles. The anomaly occurs when the glands are clogged with dead skin, oil and bacteria. It is usually a red, painful bump on the eyelid resembling a pimple.
