- Age (average age 72, almost all patients over 50)
- Sex (Women 2 to 3x more common then men
- Race (Most common in Scandinavian descent)
- Headache
- Scalp Tenderness (it hurts to comb the hair)
- Pain in the Shoulders and Hips (Polymyalgia rheumatica)
- Jaw claudication (Pain in the jaw after chewing)
- Fever
- Blurred Vision
- Cough
- Throat pain
- Tongue pain
- Weight Loss
- Depression
- Stroke
- Pain in the arms during exercise
- Blindness
