  • Age (average age 72, almost all patients over 50)
  • Sex (Women 2 to 3x more common then men
  • Race (Most common in Scandinavian descent)
  • Headache
  • Scalp Tenderness (it hurts to comb the hair)
  • Pain in the Shoulders and Hips (Polymyalgia rheumatica)
  • Jaw claudication (Pain in the jaw after chewing)
  • Fever
  • Blurred Vision
  • Cough
  • Throat pain
  • Tongue pain
  • Weight Loss
  • Depression
  • Stroke
  • Pain in the arms during exercise
  • Blindness
