A class of rare, hereditary, connective tissue disorders comprising of abnormal collagen leading to hypermobile joints, myopia, skin hyperextensibility, and ectopia lentis. The disorder affects connective tissue involving bones, the skin, blood vessels, among other tissues and organs. There are 13 subtypes of the condition and it is also associated with keratoconus.
