A binocular vision anomaly where the eyes aim either in front of an object or too close to it. It is an eye teaming defect where the eyes tend to shift outward when engaged in near tasks such as writing and reading. It causes eye strain, double vision, headaches, sleepiness, blurred vision and difficulty recalling what was read. It is the most prevalent eye muscle abnormality affecting people of all ages - children and adults.
