A corneal surgery where diseased or damaged Descemet's membrane (DM) and endothelium layers are restored with healthy donor tissue, i.e., DM and endothelium, a thin slice of the posterior corneal stroma. It is an alternative to penetrating keratoplasty and a popular procedure in corneal endothelial abnormalities.
