Small, thin and curved rigid or soft plastic lens made to cover the cornea, the front part of the eye. Often, they are worn to correct refractive errors, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, presbyopia and astigmatism. They can also be used for therapeutic and cosmetic purposes. They are not suitable for people suffering from dry eyes, severe allergies, frequent eye infections, or those work in a dusty or dirty environment.
