A device that measures corneal sensation to evaluate the ophthalmic branch of the fifth cranial nerve using different nylon lengths. Qualitative and quantitative methods are used to measure corneal touch sensation, the most common being the qualitative use of a cotton-tipped applicator. Corneal touch threshold means the patient should feel at least 50% of the nylon length application.
