A group of conditions characterized by the impairment of muscle coordination, movement and other disabilities. The disorder arises as a result of brain damage from trauma or abnormal brain development before birth, at birth, or immediately after. It may also affect the functioning of the oral motor, gross motor skills and excellent motor skills.
