A chronic inflammatory condition (a type of allergic conjunctivitis) that affects atopic dermatitis patients. It is bilateral and characterized by the loss of tarsal conjunctiva features. The disease relapses and remits with little to no seasonal correlation. It affects the lower eyelid more than the upper lid.
