An index or ratio used to interpret an electrooculogram. It records the ratio between the light and dark peaks using percentages. A recording of less than 180% is indicative of retinal epithelium disease, a malfunction of structures, or loss of photoreceptor function. The ratio is also used to monitor eye movement.
