Ankyloblepharon

It is an eye condition characterized by a partial or complete fusion of the edges of the lower and upper eyelids. The disorder may be congenital, where the eyelids fail to separate during the embryo development (ankyblepharon filiform adnatum). It can also be acquired as a result of injuries related to burns or an inflammatory eye disease.
