A room deliberately distorted to create different optical illusions of relative sizes. Loss of normal perspective is registered, for example, in a seemingly normal rectangular-shaped room when two illusions are produced to the observer. If an individual is standing in one corner, he appears significantly larger than another one standing in the opposite corner. The objects placed on one end look smaller instead of further away.
