An instrument in orthoptics for diagnosing binocular vision anomalies with targets presented to each eye with images at different angles of convergence and divergence to test fusional ability. It gives the patient’s detailed sensory status information, detects and quantifies suppression, measures a suppression scotoma’s size and shape, measures primary or secondary deviations, determines fusional potential and determines retinal correspondence. The instrument also trains binocular vision and stimulates vision in an amblyopic eye.
