An inflammatory disease that affects the uvea, which is up made of the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. Acute uveitis lasts for a short period while chronic uveitis lasts for a more extended period. Some causes include bruises to the eye, toxins introduced to the eye and an autoimmune attack.
