Glasses can last ten or more years if well take care of. You can protect them from scratches by always storing them in a case or microfiber pouch. Carefully clean your glasses with soapy water to remove smudges, and then dry them using a microfiber cloth. Do not use harmful cleaners such as vinegar, rubbing alcohol, Windex, and so on. Breathing on the glasses and wiping them is not recommended either. Additionally, always use both hands when taking your glasses off, use only bottled water to rinse them, keep your glasses away from extremely hot conditions, and avoid wearing your glasses on top of your head. Further, find a way to stop them from slipping, such as wire tubing on the earpieces for the extra grip.
