Incontinentia pigmenti (Bloch-Sulzberger syndrome) is a rare X-linked disorder that is characterized by a triphasic dermopathy and variable involvement of the eyes, teeth, and central nervous system. Ocular involvement occurs in approximately one third of affected females and includes pigmentary abnormalities as well as peripheral retinal avascularity that may lead to cicatricial retinal detachment
